History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a blue shirt with thin black vertical stripes and brown pants. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When John reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
