Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To protect his home; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He wears long strands of amethyst and short yellow dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is golden and very short. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theobald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Theobald took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He carries with him a set of ceremonial daggers, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
