History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is dressed in a clean violet cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is chestnut and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. Being a Barber kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult
