History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
