He dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is long and golden with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Jocelyn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
