History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

History: Heward was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He became a Baker soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
