Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Lewis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is content

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'3". He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a mace. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Ernest was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This younger middle-aged man tends to wear a large red jacket, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and human compassion

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He carries with him a set of tridents on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Miles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he is greedy
