History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Detective mother left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He wears just a black suit, and he perpetually has his longbow ready. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A true patriot, Hubert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern
