Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a sai on his belt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Clerebold would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Clerebold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and money/treasure

History: Ernest was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
