Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Arnold was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Arnold decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
