Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Adventurer, but he was a colossal failure. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
