History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
