History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Rolf was a troubled youth. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balimaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balimaar. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Randal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
