Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. History: He was born in the west. Nicholas was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He worked as a nervous Server and found it very stressful. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
