History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories.
