History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
