History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
