History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. Hunter liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Charles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To be a Servant again; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
