History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture
