History: Manfred was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
