History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
