Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Merchant mother left him crippled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Priest. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
