History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
