History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gerald has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Tim studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Tim took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
