Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
