Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Dustin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
