Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is typically in his Navigator uniform. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
