History: He was born in the north. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Odo was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many drow want him driven away

The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.
