His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Adelard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a Ruler soon after.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
