History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Masseuse and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Junk Dealer born in the past three hundred years. John enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He worked as a nervous Junk Dealer and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and revenge
