History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He takes great joy in being the best Adventurer in town.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born in the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
