History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His white hair is lengthy. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Frederick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His head has been shaved. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is baby faced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, William embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
