History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Stableman. During his travels, Lance and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Lance discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Lance fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His ears are large.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Baker, but he got bored and became a Server. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new server responsibilities is difficult
