History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he prefers to wear flannel. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sellsword for the past few years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
