History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Jocelyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Dustin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.
