History: John lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
