History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: 5'6" and muscular, this eastern man wears a black cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born in a small island village. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
