When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Theodoric abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is greedy
