History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a black tunic with grey highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Hugh began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
