He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Jeweler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Chad was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
