History: Gomory hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: Dean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He works hard and plays hard.

History: Dean was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'9" and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cory was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
