History: He was raised by priests from a young age. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears his white hair down. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: An older man who is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats, he is not a threatening figure. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He bought a greatsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
