When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Don was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Henry was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
