History: Norman lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Peter has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to prove his worth to the world
