History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Reynard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Reynard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
