He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Hubert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Server. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Server. He became a Server soon after.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
