History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Bertram was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bertram decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Reynard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Reynard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
