History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Gunter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Gunter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world
