Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a blue costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, and is pretty ugly. His hair is short and auburn. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Hunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Hunter reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and further expansion of business

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this northern man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'0". He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts, and his gloved hand is found clutching a greatsword. He wears his golden hair up. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is a Spy first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Alex was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and balancing his hectic life and new spy responsibilities is difficult
