History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
